Position: Senior Medical Imaging Technologist
Join WA Country Health Service (WACHS) as a Senior Medical Imaging Technologist based at Northam Health Service, delivering high‐quality imaging services to the Wheatbelt community. Responsibilities
* Provide professional medical imaging services.
* Assist Supervisor MIT with efficient management of the medical imaging department.
* Supervise MITs and support staff.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Medical Imaging and eligible for registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia and licensing with the Radiological Council of WA.
* Substantial experience in a range of medical imaging modalities with competent adaptation of technique to suit non‐routine situations.
* Ability to diagnose simple equipment faults and problem‐solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
* High level time management and organisational skills when planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating medical imaging services.
* Knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in the areas of Equal Opportunity, Disability Services and Occupational Safety & Health, and how these impact on employment, people management and service delivery.
* Current C or C‐A Class driver's licence or other specialised licence class.
