About the Role
We are seeking a Pastoral Care Practitioner (Grade 1 or 2) to provide high‐quality emotional and spiritual support to patients, families and staff. Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will deliver meaningful, person‐centred support that responds to diverse spiritual, cultural and emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist pastoral care across allocated wards in collaboration with clinical teams.
* Assess spiritual, emotional and religious needs and tailor care accordingly.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation within patient records.
* Participate in an on‐call weekend roster.
About You (Qualifications & Experience)
* Demonstrated experience in pastoral, spiritual and bereavement care in a healthcare or similar setting.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
* Commitment to person‐centred, culturally safe, inclusive care.
* At least two units of Clinical Pastoral Education (essential).
* Relevant qualifications in theology, pastoral care or a related field (desirable).
