in delivering next-generation digital engineering, PLM, and product lifecycle solutions.
We're looking for an experienced
3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) Back-End Engineer
to design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance systems across
3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA, and SOLIDWORKS
platforms.
You'll be responsible for designing and developing the
server-side logic, data models, APIs, and integrations
that power enterprise PLM systems used in major defence programs.
Your work will ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with strict information security standards.
About the Role
* Develop and integrate secure back-end systems and data models for complex defence programs
* Customise and extend 3DX, CATIA, and SOLIDWORKS platforms for unique defence applications
* Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and client support in secure environments
* Ensure systems meet
defence-grade reliability, performance, and security standards
* Open to other locations in Australia
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement
secure back-end architectures, data flows, and integration layers
for 3DEXPERIENCE
* Analyse and document system requirements in collaboration with defence stakeholders
* Design scalable architectures and implement robust software solutions
* Develop and maintain back-end PLM functionalities using
Java, .NET, and JavaScript frameworks
* Conduct testing, debugging, and optimisation to ensure reliability and compliance
* Provide technical guidance, peer reviews, and documentation for defence-grade projects
* Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of
3DEXPERIENCE, ENOVIA, and CATIA
components in secure environments
Skills & Experience
* Degree in Software Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field with 3DX experience
* 2+ years' experience
developing back-end systems for
3DEXPERIENCE or enterprise PLM platforms [Essential]
* Strong coding skills:
Java, EKL, MQL, JavaScript, REST APIs, SQL/XML
* Experience with secure or defence environments is highly regarded
* Must be an
Australian Citizen
and hold or be eligible for
Baseline (NV1 preferred) Security Clearance
