Head of Corporate Strategy and Innovation
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Corporate Strategy and Innovation will lead the development, evaluation and execution of SBS's corporate strategy, providing strategic advice to senior leaders, driving innovation initiatives, and overseeing the annual strategic planning cycle. This role includes the leadership of a small team.
Responsibilities
* Leading organisation-wide strategic planning and coordinating the annual corporate planning process.
* Providing high‐quality strategic advice, insights, and thought leadership to the CFO, Managing Director, Executive and Board.
* Identifying and driving innovation, growth and partnership opportunities that support SBS's Charter, commercial sustainability and long‐term strategic priorities.
* Overseeing and conducting market, audience, industry and competitor analysis to inform enterprise decision‐making.
* Managing strategic projects, frameworks and modelling to evaluate and progress strategic initiatives.
About You
* A proven background in strategic planning, corporate strategy, management consulting or a related discipline.
* Demonstrated experience providing strategic advice to senior executives and boards.
* Strong capability in strategic problem‐solving, financial modelling, and developing clear, insight‐driven recommendations.
* Experience leading people and driving cross‐functional strategic initiatives.
* A forward‐thinking mindset with the ability to identify innovation, partnership and growth opportunities aligned to organisational priorities.

Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Salary: A$160,000.00‐A$180,000.00. Full‐time. Seniority level: Mid‐Senior. Job function: Finance. Industries: Broadcast Media Production and Distribution.
