Baxters Foods Australia, a proud family‐owned company, is a leading Australian manufacturer specialising in a diverse range of high‐quality foods for both the retail and foodservice sectors.
We are looking for a dedicated Factory Hygiene and Sanitation Operator to join our team. This full‐time role (38 hours per week) primarily works an afternoon shift (commencing 2–3 pm).
Key Responsibilities
* Follow all safety protocols while cleaning, including LOTO management.
* Clean and sanitise production equipment such as machinery, pipework, and conveyors using chemical foaming and rinsing methods.
* Follow work instructions to achieve the required level of cleaning on all food‐contact surfaces.
* Manually scrub and clean floors and infrastructure with suitable equipment.
* Dismantle and reassemble certain equipment for thorough cleaning.
What We're Looking For
* Cleaning experience within the food industry (minimum 1 year).
* Good understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safety.
* Good understanding of PPE.
* A reasonable level of physical fitness.
* A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.
