About the Role
* Leading and mentoring the site survey team, setting standards and driving performance
* Overseeing all survey activities including stakeouts, drone surveys, scans and stockpile measurements
* Delivering accurate volume calculations, reconciliations and end-of-month reporting
* Ensuring compliance with QLD Recognised Standard 10 and all statutory survey requirements
* Managing survey data, systems and reporting to ensure accuracy and accessibility
* Supporting mine planning activities and contributing to annual mine plans
* Maintaining survey equipment, including drone compliance to CASA and site standards
* Working closely with Technical Services and Operations to ensure alignment to design and execution
* Driving continuous improvement through new technologies and better ways of working
About You
You are a technically strong and proactive Surveyor who enjoys leading from the front. You bring a balance of hands‐on capability and leadership, with a focus on accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement.
* Tertiary qualification in Surveying or similar
* Current RePL (CASA Multi Rotor UAV)
* Experience in open cut coal mining operations
* Strong capability in Vulcan, Point Studio and Agisoft
* Experience with end‐of‐month survey reporting and volume calculations
* A collaborative approach and ability to work closely with operational teams
