About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to coordinate the engagement of approved electrical and additional contractors to ensure ASC facility maintenance tasks are planned, supported and executed in a safe and compliant manner. Utilising ASC corporate maintenance systems and processes, the position is required to ensure all contractors are permitted and cleared for site access, escorted and supervised while on-site and complete allocated tasks to the ASC standard required. Contractors may be engaged to conduct tasks related to ASC grounds, buildings, building services and infrastructure.
This role is located in Adelaide, South Australia.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Facilities Maintenance Coordinator may include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Coordination and on-site supervision of electrical and additional contractors.
* Provide immediate support to address the rectification of building, grounds, work shop and office related maintenance problems.
* Use of various computer software programs, email and mobile phone to respond to maintenance problems and rectification requirements.
* Support and backfill existing team members to address work load in a pro‐active and flexible manner.
* Compliance with ASC allocated work processes routines and expected behaviours.
* Governance and Compliance with WHS&E regulations, codes of practice, guidelines and Australian Standards.
About you
* Electrical experience and knowledge required
* Knowledge of general engineering and building maintenance.
* Previous experience with supervision of contactors visiting site.
* Knowledge of WHS&E rules and regulations.
* Ability to use computer‐based coordination and communication systems.
* Committed and accountable towards completion of tasks within timeframes and quality requirements.
* Ability to work independently, showcasing adaptability and flexibility.
Essential qualifications
* A-Grade Electrical Licence
* Valid driver's licence.
* White card.
* Forklift and EWP preferred but training can be provided.
* Working at Heights and Confined Space training preferred but can be provided.
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintainingsuch clearance. To check your eligibility please visit the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency website.
