About Your Role

In this hands‐on role, you will partner with our Mackay workshop team to support a safe and inclusive work environment. As the HSE advisor, you will coach, guide, and empower leaders and frontline employees while helping drive continuous improvement across safety, wellbeing and environmental performance. This is an opportunity to influence culture, contribute to meaningful change and make a real impact every day. Help create an inclusive environment where everyone goes home safe every day.

Key Responsibilities

* Partner with leaders and teams to build a strong, positive safety culture
* Provide practical HSE advice, mentoring and coaching across the workshop
* Support risk assessments, audits and compliance activities
* Lead or assist with incident investigations and improvement actions
* Deliver engaging toolbox talks and safety learning sessions
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and safety programs
* Maintain accurate reporting and ensure compliance with WHS requirements

About You

* Experience in HSE, safety or a related field (workshop, industrial, rail or similar environments are highly regarded)
* A qualification in work health & safety or a related discipline
* Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with people from all backgrounds
* Confidence to coach, influence and build trust at all levels
* A proactive, solutions‐focused approach and willingness to learn
