Every day you will be making a difference in people's lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.**Duties include:*** Laundering, pressing/ironing and folding items such as linen towelling and residents' garments* Cleaning/kitchen cloths, mops and garments,* Utilising washing, drying, extracting, pressing, folding or other industrial machines/equipment, as required* Collection and distribution of personal effects mistakenly sent to the laundry**To be successful you will have*** Ideally your background will be in laundries or cleaning within aged care or hospitality.* Friendly, positive outlook and ability to work in a team* Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and co-workers* Friendly, positive outlook and ability to work in a team* Valid working rights in Australia* Complete a National Police Check and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement**About this location:**Heritage Lodge, a 103 bed residential aged care facility located in Murwillumbah in the Tweed Shire, 13km south of the Queensland border.
