Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, facilitate and run activities within our village
Ensure our activities calendar meets requirements around physical, mental and social activities
Curate and develop flyers / communications around monthly events
Promote happiness, wellbeing, and quality of life for all residents
Work closely with the broader activities team to ensure our events calendar runs smoothly
Run our resident bingo - it sure is a fan favourite
Assist in the delivery of various workshops, social and craft activities. Anything from bake offs, fashion shows and even floristry demonstrations
Accompany residents on various outings
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our crucial support team as an Activity and Lifestyle Coordinator at Charles Brownlow Retirement Village in Highton. This is a Part Time position, working Monday to Friday, in our Care Centre.
About You
To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:
Strong empathy
A creative flair you're not afraid to let shine
Certificate III/IV in Leisure & Lifestyle is desired (but not essential for the right candidate)
We'd also love you to have experience working in Aged care but that's not essential.
