As a volunteer, you'll help us:
- Build confidence through engaging conversations.
- Foster connections to the world around our residents.
- Bring joy, comfort, and companionship.
- Create unforgettable memories.
- Help foster a thriving and supportive community.
We offer a wide array of activities where your skills and passions can shine:
- Baking: Help residents create delicious treats (Thursday fortnightly 1pm-3pm).
- Bus Trips: Travel with the residents on bus trips and assist them on and off the bus.
(Thursday fortnightly all day)
- Gardening/ Walking Groups: If you have a green thumb, help residents tend to their beautiful gardens, plant flowers and vegetables, or simply enjoy the outdoors with a stroll in the gardens (Wednesday 1pm - 3pm).
- Companionship: Enjoy one-on-one time with residents, whether it's a coffee chat, a leisurely stroll, or friendly conversation.
- Cafe Assistant: Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and light refreshments to our residents, staff, and visitors, creating a warm and welcoming workplace.
Every moment you contribute, no matter how brief, will profoundly enrich the lives of our residents.
