About the Opportunity
Port Macquarie Hastings Council is seeking a skilled professional to undertake arboricultural activities across the council's diverse public tree population.
* The successful candidate will work with the Vegetation Operations team to deliver tree services.
* Tree removals will be undertaken across the local government area.
* The candidate will ensure planting schedules are met.
* A high level of safety awareness and adherence to workplace health and safety protocols will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
The Arborist/Tree Worker will be responsible for:
* Delivering Tree Services: Work closely with the Vegetation Operations team to plan, coordinate and execute tree-related projects.
* Tree Removals: Undertake safe and efficient tree removals across the local government area.
* Planting Schedules: Ensure that all planting schedules are met, including maintaining accurate records of planting locations and species.
* Workplace Safety: Maintain a strong focus on workplace health and safety, adhering to all relevant protocols and procedures.
