Role
You will manage a portfolio of personal injury claims (primarily excess‐of‐loss workers' compensation) with considerable autonomy, primarily focusing on detailed physical and psychological injury loss assessment, setting accurate reserves and conducting ongoing reserve reviews for seriously injured individuals with long‐term entitlements. The ideal candidate has hands‐on, deep technical experience in independently reserving long‐term, often catastrophic, workers' compensation or personal injury claims. You'll join an experienced team and deepen your expertise across a wide range of complex losses. It is likely you are currently employed as a SA/SC level personal injury/workers' compensation lawyer in a reputable insurance law team (either defendant or plaintiff). You will be seeking to move in‐house and join a collaborative and inclusive team where you will be rewarded with challenging work, no timesheets, and the opportunity to advance your career for the long term. Engaging, with excellent interpersonal skills, you will enjoy building genuine relationships, both internally with colleagues and externally with clients and brokers.
