Inland Petroleum is an independent fuel and lubricants distributor supporting rural and regional communities across western and north‐western NSW. With continued growth and expansion into new locations, they are seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join their Dubbo workshop on a full‐time basis.
What you'll be doing
* Performing general fabrication and welding using aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel
* Completing heavy vehicle repairs including crack repairs and parts fabrication
* Carrying out preventative maintenance across fleet and workshop assets
* Assisting with fit‐out and ongoing maintenance of Kenworth prime movers
* Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment while adhering to safety standards
* Working collaboratively within a professional workshop team
What we're looking for
* Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication) or equivalent trade qualification
* Experience in welding and fabrication across a range of materials
* Exposure to heavy vehicle or transport industry (desirable but not essential)
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Ability to work safely and effectively within a team environment
* Willingness to learn and develop within the role
