As we continue to accelerate our growth agenda, we are seeking a highly capable National Account Manager – Woolworths to take ownership of one of the most critical portfolios in our business.
About the Role
The National Account Manager – Woolworths is the senior commercial lead responsible for shaping and driving PMFresh's end-to-end strategy, performance and partnership with Woolworths at a national level.
In this pivotal role, you will own the Woolworths P&L, lead Joint Business Planning, steer category and innovation strategy, and ensure PMFresh delivers best-in-market quality, service and commercial outcomes across Fresh Convenience, Salads, Ready-to-Eat and Snacking.
As a senior leader, you will influence internal decision-making, guide cross-functional delivery, and play a key role in determining the long-term strategic direction of our Woolworths business.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Leadership
* Act as the senior voice of the customer, influencing strategic priorities and business planning.
* Set and execute the multi-year commercial strategy in line with PMFresh's corporate plan.
* Lead annual Joint Business Planning (JBP), aligning on growth pathways and shared initiatives.
* Build and strengthen senior partnerships across Buying, Category, Quality, Supply Chain and Executive stakeholders.
* Influence investment decisions relating to capex, NPD, operational priorities and customer-led initiatives.
Financial Management & Governance
* Own the full Woolworths P&L, including sales, margin, trade spend and profitability.
* Lead key commercial negotiations (trading terms, pricing, promotional strategy and long-range commitments).
* Identify margin improvement opportunities through mix, cost optimisation, innovation and joint initiatives.
* Ensure accurate forecasting, scenario planning and performance reporting across both businesses.
Customer & Category Management
* Shape category strategy across salads, bowls, snacking, fruit and ready-to-eat segments.
* Build PMFresh's thought-leadership position within Woolworths through insights and recommendations.
Innovation & Product Development
* Champion the Woolworths innovation pipeline from concept through to launch.
* Lead cross-functional collaboration (Product Development, Technical, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations) to deliver commercially and operationally successful products.
Reporting, Insights & Digital Enablement
* Deliver accurate reporting across sales, margin and forecasts to senior leadership.
* Track competitor activity, market trends and consumer shifts to identify and unlock growth opportunities.
About You
Essential
* 3+ years in FMCG or retail commercial leadership, managing major supermarket customers at a national level.
* Demonstrated success managing a complex P&L.
* Strong commercial negotiation capability with a track record of delivering growth.
* Advanced category analysis and insight generation skills.
* Exceptional relationship, presentation and influencing skills.
* Passionate about food, consumer behaviour and market trends.
Desirable
* Experience in fresh or chilled food manufacturing.
* Knowledge of Woolworths systems (Qantium, Partner Hub).
* Exposure to private label manufacturing and NPD processes.
