Your Team
Risk and Control Advisory are valued and trusted business partners supporting Hollard (Line 1) Business Functions to embed our enterprise risk policies and frameworks into all aspects of their business operations. The RCA team provides group-wide cross-functional risk and control advisory and assurance services to enhance organisational risk maturity, capability and culture to support us in achieving our strategic goals, enhance the customer experience and mitigate the risk of regulatory intervention.
Your Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Risk Advisory, you will act as a trusted Line 1 risk advisor supporting Operations and other business functions. You will provide pragmatic risk guidance, perform control effectiveness testing, support risk uplift initiatives, and help embed scalable risk practices across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct control effectiveness testing and support control assurance activities
* Partner with stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks
* Support risk maturity uplift initiatives and capability development programs
* Deliver practical risk guidance aligned with regulatory and compliance requirements
* Facilitate training and support the embedment of enterprise risk frameworks
* Collaborate with Line 2 and Line 3 teams to strengthen risk and control practices
About You
* Experience in Risk Management within financial services
* Strong understanding of risk frameworks, controls assurance, and regulatory requirements
* Experience in business partnering, advisory, or operational risk environments
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Ability to translate complex risk concepts into practical business solutions
* Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and relationship management capability
