Job Title: Assistant Accountant
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team for a 6-month contract with potential to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:
* Process supplier invoices and employee expenses in ERP systems
* Prepare and send customer invoices and apply payment receipts
* Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and follow up on outstanding payments
* Prepare departmental P&L statements and assist with budgeting processes
* Support tax return preparation and year-end audit procedures
* Generate monthly sales reports and assist with regional reporting
* Perform general administrative tasks as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an Assistant Accountant role
* Strong understanding of General Ledger principles and reconciliation processes
* Proficiency in MS Excel; ERP experience essential
* Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines
* Desirable skills include Concur, ADP Payroll, and Power BI experience
* Right to work in Australia is mandatory
