An opportunity is available for a General Medicine Physician to undertake a locum placement in a regional hospital providing specialist services within a collaborative team. The location offers a relaxed coastal lifestyle with access to beaches and outdoor activities.

* Available Dates: 30-03-2026 to 07-06-2026
* Travel & Accommodation Allowances: Flights or mileage reimbursed up to $1,000
* Accommodation and car hire allowance up to $150 per day (+1 additional day)
* Placement Requirements: Ability to participate in 100% of the roster, including all shift types and on call requirements
* Eligibility: Candidates who have separated from Queensland Health within the past 3 months are not eligible for consideration

The rate is $2300.00/day.
Location: Located in the Wide Bay region of Queensland. This coastal city has approximately 73,747 residents and serves as the main referral hospital for rural facilities with services including emergency, surgical, specialist clinics and mental health. Travel & accommodation provided.

Qualifications / Requirements
* Medical qualification suitable for General Medicine and eligibility for practice in Australia
* Current registration with the relevant medical board
* Ability to work across all roster types and on-call duties
