Job Title

Manager, Site Operations Support – Hybrid role, 5:2 Subiaco based, 4:3 Site based.

Responsibilities

* Lead strategic planning and process improvements across administration, mobilisation, and accommodation to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
* Drive adoption of new technologies, tools, and streamlined workflows.
* Work with site leaders to ensure administrative processes support broader business needs.
* Develop SOPs, policies, and manage workforce planning and mobilisation.
* Act as the main contact for key suppliers (camp, transport, flights) and oversee contract performance and reviews.
* Handle escalations, complaints, and operational risks effectively.
* Support contractor selection and contract awards for logistics and accommodation services.
* Ensure adherence to regulations and company policies while identifying and mitigating risks.
* Oversee budgets, control costs, and report on efficiency and resource use.
* Maintain clear communication between head office and site teams and manage internal updates on policies and initiatives.

Qualifications

* Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior administration or operations management role within the mining industry.
* Demonstrated experience overseeing multi‐site or site‐based teams.
* Proven track record in managing village management and people logistics contracts.
* Proven experience in process improvement and change management initiatives.
* Extensive experience in mining and site administration software programs (INX, Pronto).
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage confidently at all levels of an organisation.
* Proven capability in managing performance, driving accountability, and fostering a positive team culture.

Highly Desirable Qualifications, Experience and Skills

* Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
* Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field.
* Project management qualifications.
* Experience in tendering, award and contract negotiations.
