Mechanical Engineer

About the Role As a Mechanical Engineer at ResMed, you’ll be part of a cross‑functional project team responsible for designing, developing, and verifying new products from concept to production. You’ll work within ResMed’s quality standards to deliver solutions that meet user needs in the most cost‑ and time‑efficient manner.

Collaborate with peers to define and deliver high‑value solutions.

Operate within a regulated medical device environment, ensuring quality outcomes.

What You’ll Bring Core Competencies

Robust technical problem‑solving skills with guidance from senior engineers.

Commitment to quality and adherence to medical device standards.

Accountability and a drive for results.

Position‑Specific Skills

Experience with product development documentation and design history files.

Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.

Proficiency in 3D CAD (PTC Creo preferred).

Familiarity with simulation and analysis tools (e.g., Ansys, MoldFlow, Minitab).

Experience in test, verification, and validation processes.

CFD experience (CFX or Fluent) preferred.

AI knowledge or experience preferred.

Qualifications Minimum:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.

Preferred:

Engineering experience in medical device product development.
