About The Role – Early Childhood Education Trainee
* Entry level childcare assistant opportunity.
* Kick‐start your early childhood education career.
* Get paid while you study Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care, and Certificate III in Montessori Education.
Up to 38 hours per week, shifts rostered between 6:45am and 6:00pm.
No Montessori experience is required. Upon appointment, all educators will be supported to complete Montessori qualifications through our affiliated training college, MECTA (https://MECTA.edu.au/). Funding is available for eligible trainees and can result in no out‐of‐pocket expenses for course fees. Enrolment eligibility conditions apply.
Please note, payrate for trainees is as per Miscellaneous Award, National Training wage.

Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated commitment/achievement in schooling, community, sport/hobbies.
* Willingness to enrol in and complete ECEC and Montessori Early Childhood Education qualifications.
* Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
* Hold or be eligible to apply for a valid paid Blue Card (WWC). Restricted persons need not apply.
