Assistant Admin (Part time) - Immediate start - Accounts Payable
Bunbury Machinery is seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to support our team and accounts department.
Permanent Part‐time role is based in Bunbury, Western Australia and you will be responsible for making our reception flow with exceptional customer service.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Meet and greet visitors.
* Answer telephone and direct calls accordingly or take messages.
* Do banking and enter bank statements into accounting software. Reconcile bank statements.
* Daily reconciliation of EFTPOS and cash sales.
* Maintain and reconcile petty cash.
* Debtors: Allocate payments, send out invoices and statements. Follow up overdue accounts.
* Collect & distribute incoming mail and send outgoing mail.
* Filing & archiving as required.
* Maintain and purchase stationery supplies.
* Monthly administrative assistance to Hire, Sales & Service departments as necessary.
* Willing to cover leave periods up to 4 weeks full time each year.
* Maintain a clean and safe workspace and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
* Other tasks as directed or required.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Preferred Qualifications:
* Cert IV in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
* First aid certificate preferred.
* Ability to learn new software.
Experience:
* Minimum three years' experience in a similar role/industry.
Skills:
* Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge.
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Organised and able to meet deadlines.
PERFORMANCE GOALS:
* Complete administration tasks accurately and on time.
* Deal with customers, suppliers and other employees professionally always.
* Ensure office is always clean and presentable.
