Band 4 - base salary from $99,189 per annum (plus super) - total package to be negotiated with preferred candidate based on skills and experience
At TasNetworks, we're looking for a technically capable
Network Asset Data Specialist
to support and enhance the quality of our network asset data and systems.
As a senior member of the team, you'll be a go-to problem solver — providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring best practice in how we manage, analyse and improve our network asset data.
You'll work across systems, supporting the delivery of our asset data program of work. You'll be hands-on in most of the tasks your team performs, while also acting as an escalation point to guide, review and uplift capability across the team.
You'll
* Be the ArcGIS expert, providing advice, troubleshooting, and ensuring data accuracy and quality
* Maintain data integrity and connectivity across GIS, SAP and other network systems
* Solve complex issues, making sound decisions even with incomplete information
* Balance priorities, coordinate team workload, and support daily data operations
* Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, asset management, digital and field teams
* Drive continuous improvement of data standards, processes and tools
About You
You're a skilled data and systems specialist with deep technical knowledge of ArcGIS and a strong understanding of asset data management within an electrical network context. You're analytical, detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and decisions matter.
You'll Bring
* Proven experience with ESRI ArcGIS (Utility Network Model experience highly regarded)
* Working knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise asset management systems
* Experience supporting and maintaining data integrity across GIS and asset data systems
* Ability to juggle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
* Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and a high level of accuracy
* Confidence working with incomplete or ambiguous information and making sound decisions
* Collaborative and supportive team approach, with some leadership or mentoring experience
