A busy, modern 72-room motel in central Queensland seeks a professional and dependable Relief Management Couple or Single Relief Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our motel and restaurant for the following relief periods:
* 2nd July to 15th July 2026
* 27th August to 9th September 2026
* 22nd October to 4th November 2026
* 17th December to 30th December 2026
These dates include 2 days of handover. Even if you can't do all the dates, please definitely reach out with your availability. This motel's primary customer base consists of corporate clients in the mining sector. Managers must carry out standard reception duties, including ordering supplies, staff management, invoicing, reporting & administration. Reception is open Monday to Friday 7am – 7pm and weekends 9am – 5pm. A fully staffed restaurant is open Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Restaurant staff require minimal supervision, however managers should be available to assist when needed. Bed linen and towels are outsourced. Wonderful housekeeping staff are in place. Managers & housekeepers will share the washing rags and doona covers. No Pool. No gardening is required, as the maintenance employee handles this work. Managers only need to water the few plants around the reception area. Guestpoint FOS. Accommodation, food, & a work vehicle are included. Very attractive daily rate, depending on experience. The ideal candidates will have strong managerial skills, great attention to detail, and a dedication to maintaining the high standards we've set for guest satisfaction. You must also be proficient in using computer systems and reservation software (Microsoft Suite, Guestpoint and SiteMinder essential, Xero preferred). Successful applicants must have a current Food Safety Supervisors Certificate, Food Handling Certificate, and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
