Overview
The Senior Client Relationship Manager – Melbourne Town Hall (MTH) is a senior sales role responsible for achieving individual revenue targets while contributing to overall team sales performance across the SEG venue portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Sales – Melbourne Town Hall, the role manages the full lifecycle of corporate and social event enquiries, from lead conversion and client engagement through to proposal development, confirmation and seamless handover to Planning and Operations teams.
This role drives revenue growth through strategic sales activity, disciplined pipeline management and the development of long-term client relationships. Working with the Business Development team, the Senior Client Relationship Manager is responsible for converting qualified opportunities, managing key accounts and identifying opportunities for repeat business, multi-event agreements and portfolio growth across both corporate and social markets.
The position contributes to the broader success of the sales function through commercial acumen, proposal quality, forecasting accuracy, yield management and continuous improvement of sales processes and operational efficiencies. As a senior team member, the role provides mentoring and guidance to other sales team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing and customer-focused sales culture aligned with SEG values.
