We're looking for experienced, reliable and committed Medical Practitioners to join our telehealth team on either a permanent or contractor basis.The role:Deliver high-quality telehealth consultations across a diverse patient baseManage clinical assessments, prescriptions (S4 & S8), and follow-up consultsEmbrace digital tools to optimise patient outcomes and service efficiencyWork closely with nurses and doctor support teams to streamline careMaintain complete documentation and compliance in a digital-first environmentCommit to providing weekly hours to your Alternaleaf patients.Being able to provide availability consistently in advance.We're seeking dependable doctors who thrive in fast-paced, digital-first environments and want to make a lasting impact in an evolving clinical space.
This role is not suited to doctors who cannot commit consistant hours to the clinic each week.You bring:Unrestricted AHPRA registration (Minimum PGY4)Experience in emergency, urgent care, high-volume GP, or telehealth settings will be highly regardedExcellent time management with the ability to confidently manage 10 minute consults (4-6 patients/hour)Familiarity with privacy laws, RTPM, S8 regulation, and medico-legal obligationsStrong clinical judgement, with an evidence-based and harm-reduction mindsetStrong documentation/admin skillsComfortable working with multiple digital platforms and navigating tech efficientlyPunctual, reliable and responsive – you value team collaboration and patient continuity
