Responsibilities
Responsibilities and duties include:
* Manage on-site works of projects from initial site set up to completion
* Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements
* Oversee the project site, plant & equipment are maintained and in working order
* Effective cost control and running of projects to meet project deadlines and budgets
* Coordinate direct labour, labour-hire and subcontractors
* Ensure the efficient and appropriate delegation of work activities
* Complete project progress reporting and weekly meetings
* Provide advice on any technical, trade or engineering issues (if applicable)
* Drive problem-solving and lead in developing innovative solutions
Qualifications
* Trade or construction background with previous experience working on construction remediation projects
* Team player with solid negotiation and influencing skills
* Frontline management or leadership experience
* Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
* Positive conflict resolution, communication and influencing skills
* Current Driving Licence
* Expertise in site management and delivery, budgeting, stakeholder and subcontractor management, documentation and approvals
