We are URGENTLY seeking motivated and safety-focused Ramp Service Attendants to join our growing aviation operations team in Karratha, WA.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced helicopter operations environment supporting daily flight activities, passenger handling, aircraft turnaround operations, and ramp safety.
About the Role
Reporting to the Base and Contract Managers, the Ramp Service Attendant is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient management of ramp operations and assisting with daily base flight activities.
You will play a key role in ensuring all aircraft turnaround operations are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with preparation and loading/unloading of aircraft for daily flight operations.
* Provide safe passenger escorting, briefings, and boarding assistance.
* Ensure passengers are correctly fitted with lifejackets and PPE before embarkation.
* Confirm baggage and cargo are correctly stowed and secured.
* Assist with cargo acceptance and freight manifesting.
* Support fuelling operations including rotors-running refuelling when authorised.
* Conduct fuel quality checks and fuel sampling.
* Conduct external aircraft security inspections prior to aircraft startup.
* Perform fire watch duties during startup and departure operations.
* Maintain ramp housekeeping standards and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) control.
* Operate ground support equipment including aircraft tugs, forklifts, and other support vehicles.
* Assist Engineering teams with aircraft towing and equipment movement.
* Wash, clean, and polish aircraft as required.
* Assist with stock control of PPE, consumables, and operational supplies.
* Support base audits, mobilisations, emergency response activities, and cyclone preparations.
* Report operational delays, hazards, safety concerns, and incidents promptly.
* Assist in maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient ramp operations.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience
* Previous aviation, ramp, or airport operations experience.
* Dangerous Goods Awareness certification.
* Fire Watch or Emergency Response experience.
* Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
* Manual Handling training.
* Experience operating Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
