Salary Range: $34.17 – $35.62 per hour (dependent on experience)
Role Summary
We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Groundsperson to work in a fixed term, part‐time capacity of 25hrs per week (5 days per week) commencing 18thMay2026. In this role you'll take pride in creating and maintaining a welcoming, safe, and vibrant school environment where students can learn, play, and grow. With care, reliability, and attention to detail, you'll help ensure the school grounds and facilities reflect the spirit and values of our community. You'll work closely with staff to support the day‐to‐day running of the school, contribute to special projects and events, and take initiative to keep our outdoor spaces looking their best. Through your efforts, you'll help foster a sense of pride, safety, and belonging for everyone who walks through our gates.
Responsibilities
Maintain and clean school grounds and playgrounds, support staff with day‐to‐day tasks such as moving equipment and setting up for events, assist in preparing the school for special projects and events, contribute to seasonal maintenance, including lawn care and safety inspections, and work closely with staff and students to create a positive, safe environment for the school community.
Qualifications
* Paid Blue Card required before commencement
* Pre‐employment medical required
* Successful completion of background checks, working with children checks, and reference checks
