About the Role
This position is ideal for a qualified carpenter who enjoys variety and wants to build long-term experience across maintenance, construction, and service works within the Pilbara region. You'll be working alongside a professional and supportive team on well-organised projects with blue-chip clients, including BHP, Fortescue, Roy Hill. Earn up to $5000 gross per week for FIFO workers including Distant Workers Allowance and Site Allowance (plus superannuation) based on 11 hour work day.
What you\'ll be doing
* Carrying out a range of carpentry tasks such as framing, roofing, flooring, and general fit-out work
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
* Collaborating with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project delivery
* Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
* Providing guidance and mentorship to apprentice carpenters
What we\'re looking for
* Minimum 2 years\' experience as a qualified carpenter in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and industry best practices
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
* Current driver\'s licence
* Australian Permanent Residency
* Ability to meet site medical and D&A requirements
