About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with flexible working hours based in Dubbo. As a key figure in a child's life, you'll support their safety and story by coordinating care for children and young people in out-of-home care.
You'll work towards guardianship outcomes where appropriate, developing and reviewing case plans and risk assessments. You'll also collaborate with the clinical team on behaviour support planning and navigate placement breakdowns to source safe alternative placements.
When working independently, you'll plan your schedule and connect with families face-to-face. You'll thrive in complex family situations, including trauma and placement changes, and be a strong communicator who listens deeply and speaks with respect.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor of Social Science or equivalent qualification, or 2 years of relevant work experience. You're passionate about keeping children safe while helping them maintain lifelong connections to family, culture, and community.
