About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive sales growth across Australia in our UPS and battery systems division. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing key accounts, and developing long-term relationships with customers who rely on consistent, high-quality power solutions.

You'll work closely with a technically skilled team that supports you to design, specify, and deliver tailored power solutions for your clients. This is a role for a self-starter who thrives on ownership, autonomy, and achieving results.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share across Australia
* Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities in target industries
* Manage and grow existing customer accounts through proactive relationship management
* Collaborate with the technical and engineering teams to scope and deliver complex UPS and battery solutions
* Prepare proposals, quotes, and tender submissions that align with client requirements
* Meet or exceed revenue, margin, and growth targets

Skills and Experience

Essential

* Minimum 3 years' proven sales success in UPS, battery systems and power quality management solutions
* Demonstrated ability to prospect, manage accounts, and deliver consistent sales performance
* Strong commercial acumen with a customer-centric, consultative sales approach
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Desirable

* Technical understanding of AC/DC power systems or an electrical engineering background
* Existing network within mining, industrial, or commercial sectors
* Can do battery calculations with a sound knowledge of battery technology
* Self-motivated with existing client account relationships
* Knowledge of battery, cabinet and UPS standards
