Personal Support Worker
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide care and support to our clients in their homes.
About the Role
As a Personal Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing daily living assistance, including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing.
* Provide in-home personal care to clients, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.
* Spend time on the road completing scheduled visits and interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes.
* Deliver care in accordance with each client's individualised Care Plan.
Responsibilities
Support clients with community-based recreational and social activities, assist with transportation, shopping and appointments.
Requirements
Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification is essential. You must also have a current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) and a roadworthy, insured vehicle to use for work. Experience with technology and confidence to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies are also necessary.
