My client is a well-established and growing Australian leader in laser and manufacturing solutions who supply high-quality CO2 lasers, Fiber lasers, Tube fiber cutters, Fiber markers, Press Brakes, UV printers, Metal Wide Belt Sanders, and Laser Materials to Industrial manufacturers, schools, and engravers. With continued growth across their operations, they are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to oversee their operation. The business prides itself on maintaining a positive and collaborative culture, where teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement are highly valued.
Working as a Warehouse Team Leader you will be responsible for:
* Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse fulfilment area, ensuring orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time
* Leading and supporting a team of warehouse staff across picking, packing, and dispatch activities
* Maintaining strong inventory control, including stock organisation, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies
* Coordinating inbound deliveries and ensuring stock is received, checked, and stored efficiently
* Monitoring warehouse workflows and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency
* Maintaining high standards of warehouse organisation, safety, and compliance with WHS requirements
* Working closely with management and internal teams to resolve any fulfilment or inventory issues
* Assisiting with planning and resourcing during peak operational periods
To be successful in this role you must have:
* Minimum 2-3 years previous experience working as a Warehouse Team Leader/Supervisor or Senior Warehouse Operator role
* Forklift Licence (LF) preferred
* Strong understanding of end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch
* Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support warehouse staff
* A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
