The Opportunity
7News Regional is seeking a driven, multi‐skilled journalist for our Seven Bunbury newsroom. This is a great opportunity to work with Australia's leading broadcast media organisation and to improve your journalism skills and advance your career.
What you'll do
* Generate original daily story ideas for on‐air presentations
* Interview, write and voice stories
* Develop and maintain contacts in the community
* Research and prepare news reports
* Create an effective and respectful rapport with internal and external stakeholders
What you'll bring
* Self‐starter with strong personal organisation and time‐management skills
* Creative mindset with energy, enthusiasm and a strong knowledge base in journalism
* Tertiary qualification in journalism or communications
* Exceptional communication and written skills
* Ability to work to very tight, precise deadlines
