About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with an active TSPV security clearance to lead the delivery of complex projects within a high-security Defence environment. This is a permanent opportunity supporting critical national security capabilities across ICT, infrastructure, capability uplift, and transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate will work closely with government stakeholders, technical teams, and senior executives to ensure successful project delivery across scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end project delivery within secure Defence environments
* Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and reporting
* Engage with senior stakeholders across government, Defence, and industry partners
* Coordinate multidisciplinary technical and operational teams
* Ensure projects are delivered in line with governance, compliance, and security requirements
* Prepare and present project status reports, briefings, and executive updates
* Manage project dependencies, issues, and change requests
* Support procurement, vendor engagement, and contract management activities where required
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and delivery frameworks
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience delivering complex ICT or Defence-related projects
* Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Experience working within Australian Government or Defence environments
* Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced, high-security settings
* Demonstrated experience managing risks, budgets, schedules, and governance processes
Mandatory Requirements
* Current active TSPV security clearance
* Ability to work onsite within secure facilities as required
Desirable
* PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, or equivalent project management certifications
* Experience supporting Defence capability, cyber, intelligence, or secure communications projects
* Experience working with ASD, Defence, or National Intelligence Community stakeholders
