What’s on Offer: Long term job security with ongoing projects and year-round work A clean, safe and modern manufacturing environment A supportive, safety driven team where your skills are valued What we’re looking for: Trade Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or related Engineering Degree At least 5 years professional experience as a design engineer of mechanical components/assemblies, working from concept to manufacture Technical experience : Demonstrable experience in designing machinery Advanced experience with a 3D modelling package (ideally Solidworks) Strong understanding of dimensioning and tolerancing, thorough knowledge of AS1100 Functional experience with Finite Element Modelling (FEA) Ability to work effectively unsupervised as well as part of a team. Strong computing skills in the Microsoft Suite and other applicable design software as required for the role. Excellent communicator,both written and verbal.
