The Opportunity
An exciting prospect has become available for a motivated and detail‑oriented Accountant to join the finance team of this respected global brand. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic business decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee and maintain comprehensive accounting records, including journals, ledgers, and supporting documentation.
- Perform monthly reconciliations across all General Ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Manage inventory accounting processes, including the set‑up of new stock codes, adjustments to stock balances, and review of inventory valuations.
- Lead the month‑end close process and deliver accurate financial reports and dashboards to management in a timely manner.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process by providing input, assumptions, trend analysis, and variance commentary.
- Execute financial reporting to support corporate performance review and decision‑making.
- Prepare VAT reconciliations and ensure all indirect tax obligations are submitted and recorded correctly.
- Act as a key liaison for external stakeholders including auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretarial agents.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and statutory reporting requirements.
- Contribute to ad hoc financial projects and process improvement initiatives, applying strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting
- 3–5 years’ relevant accounting or finance experience
- Experience with Epicor software is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
