Critical Power Systems Specialist
In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of critical power systems supporting telecommunications networks. Your work will involve installing and maintaining various types of power equipment, as well as responding to urgent fault situations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Installation and Maintenance: Install, test, and maintain Small to Large DC power systems, Solar Power systems, Generators, and Telecommunications alarm telephony.
2. Fault Response: Respond to 24/7 faults in critical time-sensitive situations, ensuring minimal disruption to network services.
3. Preventative Work: Perform routine checks and maintenance tasks to prevent system failures and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A trade qualification or significant experience working on telecommunications equipment.
* Strong knowledge of DC power and AC power generation principles.
* Proficiency in computer systems, including mobile apps and laptops for monitoring power systems.
