Key Role in Landmark Golf Course Development
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced team leader to play a key role in the development of our new championship golf course.
The successful candidate will lead daily operations across the golf course, including maintenance of the turf, gardens, and surrounding areas. They will work closely with the course superintendent and assistant superintendent to ensure the highest standards of presentation, precision, and safety.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with technology-driven application practices and be able to mentor and support a team of crew members. They will also be responsible for providing feedback on turf health, quality of surfaces, and attention to detail to management.
Responsibilities
* Lead daily golf course maintenance operations, allocate tasks, set clear standards, and lead by example.
* Provide expert advice on safe chemical application and integrated pest and disease management solutions.
* Develop and implement irrigation systems, operate electrical systems, and maintain and promptly repair all hydraulic and control systems.
Requirements
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Hands-on experience with technology-driven application practices.
* Demonstrated in-field experience working at a team leader level in a similar role.
* Cert III in Sports Turf Management or equivalent qualification.
