About the role
Receptionist – part‐time (Mon‐Fri 9 am‐3 pm). This role supports the Northern Construction business, serving as the first point of contact, managing reception duties, and providing support to the wider team.
Responsibilities
* Oversee day‐to‐day office functions to ensure the regional office runs smoothly and efficiently, including managing reception duties and phone enquiries.
* Provide support to the wider team when required.
* General administration and data entry, including maintenance of records, fuel cards, e‐tags and databases.
* Ordering and coordination of IT equipment.
* Employee travel bookings.
* Coordination of catering, ordering of groceries and ensuring front desk and rooms are clean and tidy.
Qualifications / Desired attributes
Ideally you will have transferable skills or a strong desire to learn on the job. You should be proactive, self‐motivated with a can‐do attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, professional acumen, and the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders are required. Attention to detail, prioritisation skills and a focus on quality outcomes are essential.
