Job Details
* Regular short shifts, flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends
* $44.54 p/h weekdays after induction, plus salary packaging (pay less tax)
Qualifications
* Good judgement and common sense, listening skills, a willingness to learn and a commitment to our values
* Experience supporting people with a physical disability, including manual handling
* Experience with PEG feeding, catheter care and bowel care a bonus but not necessary
* Have great patience and be willing to put in the time and energy to build rapport with client
* Enthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great lives
* Commitment to working with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals. For example, supporting our clients to complete a regular physiotherapy program
* Full drivers licence and be willing and comfortable with driving clients vehicle
* Willingness to work varied short shifts; day support including community access, in‐home evening support with home duties required. We also need you to commit to ongoing shifts (more than twice weekly)
* We are looking to support clients based in Bacchus Marsh
