Responsibilities
* Delivering a design package to the data hall build team including:
* implementation script for data hall fit-out
* port mapping
* physical inventory of network equipment
* prepare and deliver appropriate CAD designs
* Work-product customers: 70% IT / 30% construction team
SKILLS
* Review CAD drawing provided by the building/colocation facility owner
* Review BIM model: detailed 3D digital twin, integrating structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems
* Interpret a network design and translate that into physical inventory list of network equipment and infrastructure
* Interpret building CAD/floor plan and overlay rack layout
* Analyze cable/conduit fill-ratio, evaluate secure duct and conduit availability for capacity and conflicts
