Responsibilities
* Drive Project Excellence – Lead service project execution in alignment with Hitachi Energy policies and best practices. Ensure strong oversight, effective resource use, and consistent project progress.
* Manage Project Performance – Oversee all technical and commercial aspects of service projects, including invoicing, cost management, expenses, and cash flow. Proactively identify risks and opportunities, and ensure lessons learned are documented and shared.
* Close Projects with Confidence – Ensure each project is formally and contractually closed out, and that completion is acknowledged and accepted by the customer.
* Ensure Strong Contract & Claims Management – Apply contract and claims management principles throughout the project lifecycle in line with company policies and commitments.
* Coordinate with Suppliers – Work closely with internal and external suppliers to secure required materials, services, and equipment.
* Be the Customer's Go‐To Point of Contact – Act as the primary interface for customers and manage any project‐related escalations with professionalism and care.
* Build Strong Stakeholder Relationships – Develop trusted relationships with internal teams and external partners, maintaining clear communication at every stage.
* Champion Safety & Environment Standards – Ensure all project activities comply with Hitachi Energy's HSE policies.
* Review Technical Documentation – Evaluate equipment drawings, project schedules, HSE documentation, transmittals, reports, and all related technical materials.
* Collaborate Across Teams – Partner with execution teams and manufacturing facilities to support project delivery.
* Travel Requirements – Local and occasional overseas travel will be required.

Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
* Minimum 3 years of experience managing service projects.
* Experience with transformer service projects (highly regarded).
* Working knowledge of SAP (order booking, invoicing, etc.).
* Strong communication skills, ownership mindset, and demonstrated leadership capability.
* Proficiency in English communication.
