Principal Environmental Scientist / Regional Manager (Contaminated Sites)
Principal Environmental Scientist / Regional Manager in Contaminated Sites for a national firm with a growing team across multiple Australian offices.
Whilst the Melbourne team is relatively young, they punch well above their weight, with revenues already >$1m receiving considerable internally referred work via EPA Auditors (for all the assessments and investigation work).
With a Principal Toxicologist on board, they enjoy risk assessment and related types of specialist projects and service the national group from Melbourne, High End Lawyers instructing on matters and a swathe of clients across VIC.
The Role:
* Take the existing workload, manage and deliver with the existing team but also build out the group through your network of clients and established relationships in the Melbourne and VIC market.
* The GM is keen to help pull up their sleeves and get you meeting all their clients and assisting with the build. Equally however, you will also have the freedom to build as you see fit. Whether that's deeper into contaminated sites or pushing more into hazmat/WHS/Occupational Hygiene or Remediation / Engineering.
* Existing pipeline is a mix of Contaminated Land PSI / DSI across landfills, brownfields, acquisitions / due diligence, remediation and developments.
* Your profile will determine the direction the team goes, no matter the outcome it will complement the wider business.
Salary: $190,000+ with very lucrative profit share and bonus structure.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science or Engineering with 12+ years' experience in contaminated sites / environmental consulting and/or industry environment in VIC.
