Horse Riding Assistant Role Overview
At Ironbark, we are seeking a skilled Horse Riding Assistant to join our team on a 1-year contract. The ideal candidate will have excellent horse handling and riding skills, as well as the ability to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students.
This is a full-time position that requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor setting. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with horse care, riding lessons, and stable management, as well as supporting the delivery of the College's horse riding program.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong passion for working with horses and young people, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Program:
We offer an immersive 5-week experience for Year 9 students, providing them with the opportunity to challenge themselves, grow, and develop new skills. Our program focuses on four key elements: outdoor education, farm skills, environmental awareness, and community living.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with horse care, including feeding, grooming, and exercise
* Support riding lessons and stable management
* Contribute to the delivery of the College's horse riding program
* Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students
