DXC Practice for Oracle is the largest independent provider of Oracle consulting and managed services in Australia and New Zealand. DXC Practice for Oracle provides dynamic technology leadership in delivering Oracle Cloud solutions, with a full continuum of services around Oracle's integrated suite of applications, platform services, and engineered systems.
Due to ongoing demand within the DXC Oracle practice, we have a new contract opportunity for an experienced PeopleSoft Senior Administrator to join our Managed Services practice to strengthen our capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, configure, and administer PeopleSoft environments (Database, Web, Application, and Process Scheduler tiers).
* Perform PeopleTools and PUM upgrades, apply tax updates, bundles, and required fixes.
* Manage on‐premise environments including cloning, refreshes, and patch management.
* Ensure system availability, capacity planning, and performance tuning across all tiers.
* Support BAU operations, incident resolution, and change management.
* Administer WebLogic, Tuxedo, Oracle Database, and related middleware components.
* Implement and support security, SSL, SSO, and load balancing.
* Collaborate with development and functional teams for deployment of customisations and integrations.
* Automate routine administration tasks and improve monitoring processes.
* Work on AWS administration, automation, and integration with PeopleSoft environments where applicable.
* Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to junior team members.
Key Skills Required
* Strong hands‐on experience as a PeopleSoft Administrator in on‐premise environments.
* Proven expertise in PeopleTools upgrades, PUM Image application, and patching.
* Experience with PeopleSoft HCM, Finance, or Campus Solutions applications.
* Solid background in WebLogic, Tuxedo, Oracle Database, and Linux/Unix administration.
* Experience with environment performance tuning and troubleshooting.
* Strong BAU operational support and incident management skills.
* AWS administration skills would be an added advantage.
* Ability to work effectively in structured project and upgrade environments.
* Excellent analytical, problem‐solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
