Charters Towers State High School is seeking an experienced, caring, flexible and proactive TA004 Teacher Aide to support students. This is a temporary part-time role (0.79 FTE), 60 hours per fortnight.

Responsibilities
* Contribute to the provision of a high quality education by providing high level support for teaching and learning.
* Support students with access to learning programs and classroom routines.
* Assist teachers to implement adjustments, behaviour supports and learning plans.
* Provide support during classes and assist students with organisation, communication, self-regulation and social participation.
* Support safe and positive playground and transition routines.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, leadership and support staff.
* Contribute to a calm, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
* Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working with students and families.
* Create resources and participate in the playground duty roster.
Role characteristics
The TAOO4 role includes specialised knowledge, limited direction, initiative and high level support for teaching and learning with application of judgement.

* Experience providing support for teaching and learning in a school setting.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, leaders and support staff.
