We are seeking experienced Aviation Maintenance Professionals to support fixed wing strike fighter maintenance.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, modification, servicing, inspection, testing and troubleshooting of aircraft systems, associated components and equipment within their scope of trade qualifications, training and competency.
* trade qualifications: Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Armament)
* training: Sound knowledge of Aviation Quality Assurance procedures and the DASR 145 Aircraft Maintenance Regulatory Framework
The role involves working with multiple BDA supported aircraft, performing tasks including preparation, handling, loading and maintenance of aircraft weapon systems, completing assigned tasks by undertaking AMO aircraft maintenance activities and certification of those activities in accordance with AMD.
Accountabilities
Reporting to a Maintenance Operations Manager, liaison with teams involved in maintenance operations at Amberley, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and communication.
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, possess high level verbal and written communication skills and have an Australian NV1 Defence security clearance or ability to obtain.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* DASR Part 66 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML) or ability to obtain
* Previous experience as a maintenance certifier/supervisor
* Good knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety procedures
* Prior supervisory or leadership training
* Working knowledge of computer-based maintenance management systems
* C class driver's licence
