Residential role – 5:2 day shift roster – Competitive salary package – PJL Group supports underground mining operations at the Dolphin Tungsten Mine, near Grassy on the southeast coast of King Island, Tasmania. The mine is being sustainably redeveloped, with PJL responsible for the supply and 24/7 maintenance support of the underground mining fleet from dedicated onsite workshop facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret job planning and maintenance requirements to determine procurement needs
* Raise, manage, and track purchase orders through procurement systems
* Source, procure, and coordinate delivery of goods, materials, and services
* Maintain accurate supplier records, pricing updates, and system data integrity
* Manage goods in/out processes and oversee stock control and inventory accuracy
* Coordinate freight and logistics to ensure timely site delivery to King Island
* Liaise closely with Maintenance Planners and workshop teams to forecast parts requirements
* Conduct stock takes, cycle counts, and manage inter‐site parts coordination
* Support administrative reporting and ensure compliance with internal procedures
* Contribute to continuous improvement of stores and procurement processes
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in a Procurement and/or Stores role
* Experience in mining, heavy industry, or mechanical environments highly regarded
* Strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new systems
* High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills
* Mechanical or parts interpretation experience advantageous
* Ability to work autonomously in a remote site environment
* Current drivers licence and forklift ticket
